A man was arrested in Volos on January 5, 2025, by local police for violating drug laws. During a routine check after disembarking from an intercity bus, officers discovered 5.189 kilograms of raw cannabis packed in five nylon bags within his travel sack. The authorities also seized €460 in cash, a mobile phone, and a bus ticket. The suspect is set to appear before the Volos Public Prosecutor, while the investigation is being conducted by the Narcotics Division of the Volos Crime Investigation Department.
