A 45-year-old man from Reuver, Limburg, has been sentenced to 14 years in prison for the murder of his wife, whose body he incinerated and disposed of in Germany. The court found sufficient evidence that Ahmed I. intentionally killed his wife in June 2022. Despite the cause of death being undetermined due to the state of the body, the court deemed the evidence overwhelming, including the history of domestic abuse. I. must also pay compensation to the victim’s family.
