A significant fire erupted in Bezues-Bajon, France, around 6 PM, completely destroying a 400 square meter poultry barn housing approximately 5,000 chicks. The inferno resulted in the deaths of 4,000 chicks, while no human casualties were reported. Firefighters managed to contain the flames after addressing a nearby gas leak, mobilizing 25 personnel to bring the situation under control by early evening.
