Nathalie Elimas Faces Legal Proceedings for Alleged Workplace Harassment
Nathalie Elimas, former Secretary of State for Education in France, will face trial on March 31 for suspected moral harassment against five staff members. The allegations include using humiliating remarks and issuing contradictory instructions shortly after a brief period of goodwill. Elimas, who served in the government from July 2020 until March 2022, has denied the charges and filed a complaint for defamation against those accusing her. An administrative investigation by the Ministry of Education led to the judicial referral after examining her cabinet’s human resources management.
