Starting November 15, vehicle immobilization due to theft, loss, or death of the owner will be streamlined in Greece. As announced by Digital Governance Minister Dimitris Papastergiou and AADE Governor Georgios Pitsilis, individuals can now report immobilization digitally without needing to submit registration documents. The new process can be accessed through the “My Requests” app on the myAADE portal. The responsibility for retaining vehicle registration details will fall on the owner or their heirs. Citizens can seek further assistance through the AADE’s Taxpayer Service Center.
