Four health boards in Wales have mandated mask-wearing for visitors and staff in hospitals due to rising influenza cases. Cardiff and Vale, Hywel Dda, Aneurin Bevan, and Cwm Taf Morgannwg health boards are taking these measures to mitigate the spread of infection, especially as flu cases are predicted to peak soon. Patients are urged to refrain from hospital visits if experiencing respiratory symptoms and are encouraged to receive annual flu vaccinations.
