Orange is negotiating a voluntary departure plan for thousands of its senior employees by 2033. The proposal, which has not yet been finalized, aims to allow between 8,000 and 10,000 employees to transition to part-time work leading up to retirement. Unions are expressing concerns over the plan, fearing increased workloads for remaining staff, especially against a backdrop of recent employee distress, including reports of attempts and suicides.
