Panaθηναϊκός has reached a final agreement with striker Fotis Ioannidis for a contract extension lasting until the summer of 2028. The club’s technical director, Giannis Papadimitriou, met with Ioannidis’s representatives on November 13 to finalize the terms. Notably, Ioannidis had already agreed to the extension with club president Giannis Alafouzos about a week prior to the meeting, ahead of the crucial derby against Olympiakos.
