The decision upholds a previous ruling from May, as Cauet and his production group, Be Aware, opted for financial compensation over a return to the airwaves. Cauet, who is under investigation for alleged rapes and sexual assault against four women, contests the charges. While NRJ expressed satisfaction with the ruling, Cauet’s legal team criticized the influence of media pressure on judicial proceedings.
