The 39th Philoxenia -Hotelia exhibition concluded with a strong emphasis on cultural tourism and its role in fostering peaceful coexistence and development. Key discussions included the impact of short-term rentals on local economies and entrepreneurship, as well as the promotion of Central Macedonia as a film production destination. Notably, 130 hotels across Greece received ‘Bike Friendly’ certification to encourage sustainable tourism. The municipality of Didymoteicho, recognized for its rich multicultural heritage, was honored during the event.
