The 39th Philoxenia Hotelia International Tourism and Hotel Equipment Exhibition is underway in Thessaloniki, attracting visitors from over 36 countries. Among the participating regions, Western Greece aims to enhance its tourism appeal, with Agrinio’s Mayor, Giorgos Papadopoulos, highlighting the area’s unique offerings, including stunning natural beauty and rich cultural heritage. While Agrinio is not currently a major tourist destination, the region is promoting itself with the motto, ‘Discover Us,’ emphasizing its lakes, Byzantine monuments, and exceptional gastronomy.
