The 39th International Tourism and Hotel Equipment Exhibition, Philoxenia-Hotelia, will focus on the interplay between tourism and culture from November 14 to 16 at the Thessaloniki International Exhibition Center. Featuring 342 exhibitors from Greece and 24 countries, this year’s event sees increased participation from international exhibitors, including those from the Indian Ocean. The honored municipality for 2024 is Didymoteicho, known for its significant Roman, Byzantine, and Ottoman monuments. Additional activities include a photography contest and a conference on culture’s role in local development.
