Alan Jones, an influential Australian radio host and former Wallabies coach, has been arrested following a police investigation into multiple sexual abuse allegations. The Child Abuse Squad in New South Wales took the 83-year-old into custody at his Sydney apartment, initiating a search of the property. The investigation, which began in March, focuses on incidents of sexual misconduct dating from 2001 to 2019. Jones, a vocal media personality, has previously denied these allegations published by The Sydney Morning Herald earlier in 2023.
