Gardaí have resumed searches in a north Dublin bog for missing couple William Maughan and Anastasija Varslavane, who vanished in 2015. The area, identified by a cadaver dog, is part of a long-running investigation upgraded to murder in 2016. Although seven arrests have been made, no one has been charged. Gardaí continue to urge anyone with information to contact them confidentially. The investigation, led by a senior officer at Ashbourne Garda Station, aims to bring closure to the families involved.
