Reporters Without Borders (RSF) has filed a lawsuit against X, formerly known as Twitter, accusing the platform of deliberate inaction and complicity in disseminating defamatory content. The conflict arose from a misleading video falsely linked to RSF by the Russian state, alleging ties to Nazi sentiments among Ukrainian soldiers. RSF claims their requests to remove the content were ignored and has also lodged a complaint with the European Commission for insufficient content regulation. Following this, several media outlets have ceased posting on X, labeling it a misinformation network.
