Mayor of Rethymnon, Georgios Marinakis, signed a contract for the land survey and urban planning of a 300-acre area in the Agios Nikolaos-Koumbes region. The project, awarded to CONSORTIS and DIKTYOS, has a budget of €505,932 and is scheduled for completion within 24 months. Marinakis discussed ongoing studies related to urban planning in the nearby Perivolia and Kallithea areas, expected to proceed as planned. The next steps involve cadastral mapping and public property declarations, adhering to the agreed timeline established last September.
