The Holy Metropolis of Rhodes, supported by the Dodecanese Antiquities Authority, is organizing a conference titled ‘The Metropolitan Cathedral of Rhodes: A Journey Through Time.’ This event celebrates the completion of renovations to the Cathedral of the Entrance of the Theotokos, funded by the Southern Aegean Region through a collaboration with the Ministry of Culture. Excavations conducted during the project unearthed significant archaeological findings, confirming the existence of a medieval church and earlier structures on the site. The conference will take place on November 16 at the Church of Panagia in Rhodes’ medieval town.
