Keven Appo, a 25-year-old rugby league player for Bradford Bulls, has fled the UK to Papua New Guinea just hours after being granted conditional bail on charges including rape and sexual assault. Prosecutor Fiona Newcombe reported that Appo boarded a flight to Dubai shortly after his bail hearing and has since arrived in his home country. Authorities are now initiating extradition procedures to bring him back to the UK to face the serious allegations.
