A low-pressure system in the Ionian Sea is set to bring severe weather conditions, named Storm Alexandros, to northern Greece. Strong rainfall, thunderstorms accompanied by hail, frequent lightning, and increased winds are expected, resulting in a significant drop in temperatures. The severe weather is forecasted to last for approximately 30 hours, starting from the afternoon of Friday, November 15, until the evening of Saturday, November 16. Local authorities have warned that these conditions may pose risks to safety.
