Severe Winter Weather Causes School Closures and Road Disruptions in Wales
Heavy snowfall across parts of Wales has led to the closure of dozens of schools and several roads. Three yellow warnings for snow and ice are currently in effect in the UK, particularly impacting north-east Wales. The inclement weather has resulted in impassable roads and collisions, prompting school closures in areas including Powys, Flintshire, and Wrexham. The Met Office described this as the UK’s first significant snowfall of the season.
