A 53-year-old woman was convicted in Thessaloniki for stalking a journalist for 15 years, including persistent visits to her home. Despite the journalist’s attempts to seek legal protection, the harassment continued. Recently, the stalker called into a live radio show, prompting the journalist to file a police complaint. The woman was sentenced to 12 months in prison for threat through persistent harassment but was granted a suspended sentence, contingent on no further contact with the journalist.
