A collaborative rescue effort concluded successfully last night, saving a 23-year-old hunter injured in a mountainous area of Skamneili, Zagori. The young man suffered leg injuries from his hunting rifle, believed to be due to mishandling. Fortunately, he is now out of danger. The operation involved 23 personnel from the 5th EMAK, 5th EMODE, and the second Fire Station of Ioannina, ensuring his safe transport to a hospital for further care.
