Carl Lundström, co-founder of the infamous torrent site The Pirate Bay, has died in a plane crash in Slovenia. The incident occurred when his Mooney M20 aircraft, which had taken off from Zagreb heading to Zurich, went down in poor weather conditions. The crash site was not accessible to rescuers until the following day. Lundström, 64, was remembered by the far-right party Alternative for Sweden (AfS) as a veteran of Swedish nationalism, having been a candidate for the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Sweden in 2021.
