Taghi’s Lawyers Request New Judges Over Bias Claims in Major Criminal Case
In Amsterdam, lawyers representing Ridouan Taghi are seeking new judges due to perceived bias following a court ruling that denies them additional preparation time for a complex case with over 80,000 pages of evidence. The court has allowed until the end of the year for preparation, which the lawyers argue is insufficient. If their request is granted, new judges will take over the case, or it may proceed with scheduled hearings in February. Taghi has been without legal representation since last summer, and the current defense team took over in November.
