Teacher Shortage Forces Early Dismissal at Kissamos Special School
Basilis Chitas, a member of the Greek Solution party, has raised concerns over a severe teacher shortage at the Special School of Kissamos. The lack of qualified staff has reportedly compelled 17 students to leave after only 2 to 3 hours of instruction, impacting both the students’ education and their parents’ peace of mind. Chitas has formally questioned Minister of Education Kyriakos Pierrakakis about the understaffing issue, underscoring the urgent need for solutions in special education.
