Teenage Boy Rescued After Complex Operation in Co Kerry

A teenager was rescued after a challenging operation in Co Kerry, following a fall on a path on An Chonair. The emergency call was placed around 4:45 PM, but initial rescue efforts were hindered by low cloud cover. Despite adverse weather conditions, rescue teams, including the Dingle Coast Guard and Kerry Mountain Rescue, worked tirelessly until the boy was successfully extracted from a ravine close to 10:50 PM and transported to Kerry University Hospital for treatment.
