Telecommunications Industry Ireland (TII) is urging the next government to enhance the country’s telecom infrastructure by reforming outdated planning guidelines from 1996 and addressing the backlog at An Bord Pleanála. TII emphasizes the importance of establishing a mobile public warning system for emergencies and calls for increased security for Ireland’s subsea cables.
