In 2024, citizens of Thessaloniki submitted 44,384 requests to the municipality through various channels aimed at improving their daily lives. The ‘Improve My City’ app received 34,863 complaints, while the Citizens’ Service Line logged 9,315 issues since its launch in June. The Deputy Mayor of Digital Policy, Kostas Vasilopoulos, emphasized the commitment of the municipality in addressing over 90% of these complaints, with top concerns including the collection of bulky items and abandoned vehicles.
