The UK government has frozen the assets of the far-right organization Blood and Honour, marking a significant response to the group’s suspected involvement in terrorist activities. This action, which extends to affiliates like Combat 18 and 28 Radio, prevents any financial support to these organizations. Blood and Honour, founded in 1987 by Ian Stuart Donaldson, is known for promoting white power ideology through music. While several extreme right-wing groups have been banned previously, this is the first time an asset freeze has been implemented without proscription.
