Nearly three years after fleeing the war in Ukraine, a dozen refugees remain in the small French village of Cazilhac. Among them, Olena reflects on her harrowing journey and efforts to build a new life, including her job as a cleaner and her relationship with Jean-François, a local resident. Others, like the Scherbakov family, face challenges of language barriers and separation from loved ones still in Ukraine. As they navigate their asylum requests, the emotional toll of war lingers, especially concerning the safety of their children back home.
