Unemployment Rate in Greece Continues Decline to 9.6% in November
Greece’s unemployment rate has decreased to 9.6% in November, showing a significant drop from 10.8% in November 2023 and 9.8% in October 2024. The Hellenic Statistical Authority reported a total of 454,695 unemployed individuals, representing a reduction of 9.5% from the previous year. Employment numbers rose to 4,286,466, though a slight decline was noted compared to the previous month. Unemployment remains notably higher among young individuals aged 15-24 at 23.1%. The number of people outside the labor force also decreased compared to last year.
