Ursula von der Leyen Condemns Russian Strikes on Diplomatic Missions in Kyiv
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen condemned a ‘brutal attack’ following Russian strikes in Kyiv that damaged buildings housing diplomatic missions of six countries, including Portugal. She stated that this represents yet another barbaric assault by Russia on non-military targets. European diplomacy chief, Margrethe Vestager, echoed her concerns about the ongoing aggression against civilians and diplomatic sites.
