A ballistic missile launched from Yemen towards Israel triggered incoming missile warning sirens in the Tel Aviv area and central Israel. The Israel Defense Forces confirmed that the missile was intercepted before it entered Israeli territory. Sirens sounded throughout central Israel due to concerns about possible debris from the intercepted missile. Earlier in the day, an unmanned drone launched from Yemen was also shot down by an Israeli Naval vessel over the Mediterranean Sea.
